All in God's Family - Series Description

Pastor Bob Parks and Pastor Gary McNitt will present a new series of messages based on Genesis 12-36 in Sunday morning services and continuing through June, 2009.

The series traces the generations of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as the progenitors of the nation of Israel, and follows the spiritual history of God's people through the lives of these patriarchs. Practical applications of the scriptures related to family and spiritual issues will be emphasized throughout the study.

A companion study for small groups and interested individuals through study questions which are prepared each week by the pastors and coordinated with the Sunday morning messages is also available. Those interested in participating in a small group study may contact the church office or sign up at the Welcome Centre in the foyer on Sundays. The companion study sheets will be available at the Welcome Centre, or online, as the study progresses.

Previously, Pastor Bob Parks and Pastor Gary McNitt presented a series of messages entitled Foundations, covering Genesis chapters 1 through 11. Genesis chapter 12, where our new study begins, is a pivotal chapter. It is here that God selects a man by the name of Abraham and enters into an eternal, unconditional covenant with him and his descendants. These blessings ultimately include all of mankind, which makes this series relevant for us today.
