Matangwe Summer Missions Project
Jesus set the example for us. He made the blind to see, He healed the lame, He cured the lepers, and He ministered to those in need - some, like those of Matangwe and surrounding areas, in desperate need.

Benton Street Baptist Church is promoting this missions trip in cooperation with Caring Partners Global. Additional information on CPG can be found on their website by clicking here

Missions trips are supported in prayer and financially by those who feel led of the Lord. Benton has set a goal of $10,000 to support this trip.

Those who are able to come to the Matangwe clinic get a checkup and immunization and other vital medical care. Here, infants are immunized.
The clinic is "in the heart of nowhere" and field trips to those who cannot travel are frequent. Here staff check medical supplies for the trip.
Students learn to produce food and become self-sufficient - here, cabbage seedlings are planted and will be cared for until they reach maturity.
Jesus loved everyone - but it seems little children held a special place in his heart. Here, children line up to receive school uniforms.
Community Day in Matangwe! Hundreds come, some traveling hours on foot to visit the clinic. Locals regard the clinic as a "fountain of water in a dry and dusty land."
