Benton Street Baptist Church

Library

The Benton library exists to foster spiritual growth, and family connection. We serve Christ by providing print and audio/visual materials for the entire Benton family. Books, CDs, DVDs, games, magazines and CD audio books are available for use by the church family, small groups, adult Sunday school classes, and Awana families.

The library is open 10:25 AM to 10:40 AM each Sunday, and after the service until 12:30 PM. In addition, the library is open Wednesdays 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, during the AWANA year. A volunteer is generally available, during these times, to help with your resource checkout. A self-checkout book is in place for times when a volunteer isn’t present.

Books are loaned out for 3 weeks; A/V material for 1 week. To serve everyone equally, we allow you to borrow up to 6 books per family, or 3 A/V items per family.

Please drop by the library to see our refreshed space, to register as a new borrower, and familiarize yourself with all that we have to offer.

If you have any questions, feedback or resource recommendations, please e-mail

Donations - We are happy to receive donations however, we generally are looking for items from the current 10 years for non-fiction, and current five years for fiction.  Donations will be added at the discretion of the library coordinator, and the surplus offered to the church family, or the Mission Thrift Store.
