Mark reminds himself often of 1 John 4:19, "We love because He first loved us"

Megan McCullough has been attending Benton for many years, raising her family of four children in this church with her husband. She is a registered nurse who has worked in many settings over her career, including emergency, oncology, hospice palliative care, education and Community Care Access Centre. Megan has completed a certificate in Parish Nursing.

Megan is excited about the opportunity to support the health (physical, emotional and spiritual) of the people in our congregation and its community. Mario Masbad

Custodian

mmasbad@bentonstreetbaptist.org

Mario arrived in Canada from the Philippines in September 1993 with his wife Jocelyn and two children. The Lord called Mario, who has an engineering degree in communications, to work at Benton as a custodian in April 1994. In the Philippines Mario served as a deacon, a worship leader, a Bible study leader, sang solos and was a member of a male quartet group. The Lord continues to use Mario through singing here at Benton and in various Christian events. Mario wants to be known through this statement: "Jesus is my music. I'm just a singer of his songs."

Joseph Elliotson

Treasurer & Donor Services

jelliotson@bentonstreetbaptist.org

Joseph began attending Benton in 2005 where he quickly found a place to belong. In addition to participating as worship team trumpeter and choir pianist for several years, he currently serves as Treasurer, Head Teller (Donor Services) and finance committee member. It was through Benton in 2007 that he met and fell in love with his wife Jenny, with whom he has four young children.

Joseph is a Chartered Professional Accountant with a Bachelor in Mathematics from the University of Waterloo. He spent over 10 years in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers before starting his own financial planning and accounting practice in 2014.

Joseph is excited about the biblical vision for financial strategy and management, and desires to honour Jesus both by being a biblically faithful and wise manager (Lk 12:42) and by building others up in Christ-honouring stewardship.
